After the electric kiln (900°C) I draw with pencil a horizontal line on the belly and vertical lines. These lines are the basis of all decorations to be filled out differently. On paper the suggestion of a cube results from three diamonds in a circle. That circle can not be applied on this round shape.
I use a compass to draw the distances along the vertical lines and work my way to the neck and to the bottom. Subsequently I fill one diamond with glaze, another one with lines and the third one blackens in the process of firing raku.
